This modpack has many curated and compatible features that stay true to it's namesake:

• An insane variety of new mobs, both friends and foes, countless fun and challenging unique bosses
• The ultimate diversity of weapons to choose from, with exploration and discovery in mind as well as crafting, a vast array of different weapons for different challenges you'll face
• Magic- featuring a few different magic oriented mods, they will be very useful however not overpowered, don't expect to be in creative mode with extra steps in this modpack.
• Build an empire! This collection emphasizes using your resources and others around you, the foes are challenging but the allies are many, make a kingdom with Minecolonies or a homestead with Minecraft comes alive, or even raise a dragon of your own to take into to battle! 
• Balanced combat: while there are numerous resources at your disposal, this modpack has been built with the goal of teaming up with real players, pets, creatures, and other npc's you find along the way, not being a one man army. But don't worry there is steady progression and you can become quite powerful, but don't plan on "one shotting" the ender dragon anytime soon.
• Speaking of progression, enjoy the skill tree system along with a souls-like class system to start you off!
• A touch of horror: while this is a medieval themed pack, what's a good minecraft experience without a little jump scare every now and then. Other players aren't the only reason to build yourself some defences...
• Beautiful visuals: This pack combines various medieval themed texture packs with the solas shader to really top off this modpack's immersion.
