This mod pack was created to keep a mostly vanilla feel to the game. There are a few mods that help with exploration and knowing where you are going.

Armor Poser - purely decorative
Better F3
Explorer's Compass - Finds Structures
Natures Compass - Finds Biomes
Journey Map
Let me despawn - helps with performance, allowing mobs to despawn

Simple Voice Chat
Waystones - Allows some teleportation in the game.
