Echo SMP by Six

A carefully curated and tweaked modpack for the Echo SMP server.

This pack has everything you'll need to live your engineering dreams, from extra parts for your trains to new ways to automate resource gathering, there are plenty of options to keep you busy and with the possibilities of the Create mod there are no shortage of new ways to play.

Engineering not your thing? No problem, there's also a selection of magic mods here to be explored including Ars Nouveau and several of its addons as well as the relatively new mod Scriptor Magicae.

For exploration we have my new favorite biome mod Regions Unexplored, which offers some of the best texture work I've seen in a long time, and the Tectonic mod that completely overhauls the way the terrain generates to create a more rich and detailed world. We also have Repurposed Structures to add new but still familiar places to explore and pillage and Phillips Ruins to add some less massive structures to explore.

Of course if you're more of a home body there are several options to scratch the decorating itch. We have Another Furniture which provides a bunch of options for your home decor needs, "Beautify!" that adds more little touches to make your house a home and the Supplementaries mod that adds all sorts of cute and functional additions for those times when you want a collection of honey filled jars for your meadery. Maybe you'd like to start your own vineyard or bakery? You can do both with the Let's Do mods.

And what would a Minecraft modpack be without mods for all you builders out there?! To make any build really stand out we've got Chipped and ReChiseled that both add new designs for your favorite blocks including tons of new and interesting colors and textures to experiment with. Oh, don't forget the Framed Blocks mod! You can use the framed blocks to mimic any solid block so you can make stairs, slabs, fences or really almost anything out of that really special block that just doesn't have its own version for some reason. We've also got the Additional Placements mod that allows you to place slabs and stairs in new exciting ways!

Technical:

This pack has been tested to be able to run on 8GB of RAM with chunk distance set to 8, however I'd recommend 8GB+ for better results.

Important tweaks to know about:

Hunger has been tweaked so that you can regen health no matter your saturation, no more not being able to regen even with full hunger.

Ores can generate in more types of blocks, for example you can now find things like Granite Coal Ore and Diorite Iron Ore, etc…

If you don't like the extra animations on the mobs and villagers you can disable them in the Resourcepacks screen, just disable the Fresh Animations pack.

To mine Bedrock Ores you need a special machine that requires power, use an Alternator to generate power from the Create rotational power.
