Eldrich Forest

Your expedition of the cosmos went a little awry. Out of fuel, and with no other inhabitable planets to choose from close enough, you scout an uncharted planet in the hopes of finding the resources to survive. Orbiting the planet, your systems begin to malfunction. There is an energy down there that is messing with them. Among those systems, those lost to this energy's chaotic effects are the navigation system, the coolant system, the flight recorder, and the microwave. The craft barrels towards the planet, as you begin to think that all hope is lost.

Happily for you, that big red button that should never, ever be pressed is now lit up like a firework. Given the fact that you are about to become one anyway, you hit it, and hope for the best. The solar shield flies off, and your seat ejects triumphantly, narrowly escaping the explosion. Your parachute opens slightly less triumphantly, flapping in the bellowing wind, and tearing off your seat. If that lake hadn't been there, you'd have been about the same consistency of the water right now... Actually, I'm not sure that's water... I'd get this stuff off you, as soon as you can.

Eldrich Forest is a beautiful, magical place full of amazing sights, and horrible secrets. Here, you will have to learn the mystical laws of the land in order to survive. Craft alters, and wands. Write incantations to help you, and practice a little alchemy on the side. The gods might be with you, or against you. Good luck.
