Elemblues Open World Survival RPG

This is a mod-pack I made for my server so my players can connect to it easily, as well as make it possible for people to discover who are interested in playing this type of minecraft. My friends have beaten the dungeons and moved on into the rest of the world. So I have reset spawn back to "almost" its fresh challenge, and made the server public and free to play. If your hardcore enough and survive your way out of the hyper dungeon biome complex, consider yourself a member. Ill go down there every once in a while and reset everything (but not if someone is working on escape). The game has automated machine gun turrets if you really want to defend yourself later on.

If you are looking for a modpack that embodies survival and progression, this could be a worthy choice for your server or single player game. I did spend a great deal of time making sure it was balanced and progression oriented. It incorporates as many survival aspects as I could merge together and keep balanced such as:
Hardcore Darkness, Fear the Darkness, Tough as Nails, Hardcore Ore, Hardcore Expansion, Advanced Generators.

In addition to that, it doesn't trap you in the middle ages. There is actual progression, furniture, decorations, machines ext. Build energy networks, generators, excavators, drills, guns, factories. You will have to use modern methods to overcome mother nature. A winter jacket is just not going to do it for you if you really want to thrive. Most of this is derived from immersive engineering, which can be tweaked in configs to be a technologically advanced mod that doesn't break the game and allows for some form of realistic progression past "I now posses the strongest pickaxe in the game, game over". On my custom server the game has been tweaked up to to realism difficulty, but with just this default modpack and no tweaking I would say its about Hard difficulty.

At its core, I would say this takes the vanilla Minecraft game, makes it so life isn't totally free, and then adds eras of progression up to modern on top of the single medieval era of progression that is the original minecraft.
