Enchanted Discoveries

Enchanted Discoveries is a medium-sized modpack focused on magic, as well as some basic medieval and technological aspects as well.

What does this modpack specifically offer me?

A rich magic based experience for those who love well, magic! The mods included are hand-picked to work alongside each-other, often blending the boundaries between different schools of magic.

While many of the base features of Minecraft still remain, the added choice to tackle problems in many new ways offers an enjoyable experience, and all in one place. One can expect to learn about the world through extensive tomes and knowledge in progressive based systems offered by the mods. An Akashic Tome containing documentation on all the primary mods will also appear in the player's inventory upon entering a new world for convenience as well.

What modded features can be the expected while playing Enchanted Discoveries?

Astral Sorcery - Discover the secrets of the stars, and harness their power to create portals, grant flight, or even imbue mundane items with magic, and much more.

Botania - Flowers capable of vast, yet beautiful potential, capable of simply creating hard to gather materials with ease; along with extensive tools, armor, and advanced fabrication.

Thaumcraft - An ancient form otherworldly magic, capable of good, or evil; create staves, wands, and foci to harness elemental powers in battle, as well as create arcane tools, armor, and objects.

Roots - Become a peaceful druid, and explore the hidden magics of life and earth in the world around you; bless, imbue, and cast all manner of spells to unlock the secrets of nature.

Mystcraft - Create portals to infinite worlds with endless possibilities through enchanted books; create worlds of vast minerals and resources, or simply a new paradise to call home.

Blood Magic - A darker magic, empowered by the sacrifice of life essence to weave spells, conduct alchemy, rituals and more.

Magic Bees - Bees with varying magical properties can be bred, tamed, and kept to produce many hard to find materials around the world(s).

Thermal Expansion - Create machines, tools, materials, logistics systems, and much more in both magical, and technological fields.

Tinker's Construct - An extensive and easy to use crafting system, this offers many features to make the fabrication of all items more intuitive and enjoyable.

IndustrialCraft - A very innovative technological field, encompassing machinery, mining, ore refinery, and advanced material fabrication to suit almost every need.

Applied Energistics - Compact material and item storage through the use of circuitry and networking.

Several world modifications have been included, such as Natura, Pam's Harvestcraft, and Biomes O' Plenty for added biome and vegetation diversity; aimed to enhance exploration. Decorative and storage modifications are also included, such as Decocraft for immersion and convenience. While not as large as other modpacks encompassing similar features, Enchanted Discoveries is aimed at providing a high-end fantasy experience at a medium to light-weight, and performant size.
