Enhanced Vanilla Tech is a modpack built for Minecraft 1.16.4
Forge 1.16 is still in development so be sure to make frequent world backups!
Enhanced Vanilla Tech is a modpack that is currently in development. The pack is aimed at extending Minecrafts gameplay so it feels more rewarding and fun. You'll also find a little bit of technology sprinkled in here and there. Mods included in the modpack must meet at least one of the following criteria.
1. It increases the enjoyment or creativeness of the game
2. It makes the progression more rewarding
3. It improves the world environment or aesthetic
- New dungeons and structures to discover and explore!
- Amazing new biomes from Oh The Biomes You'll Go
- Additional new biomes for the Overworld, The Nether and The End!
- The underground is now more interesting with the help of Dungeons Plus, YUNG's Better Caves and Mineshafts
- Follow the Natures Compass to the biome of your choice and make it your own!
- Artifacts are scattered across the world. Find them and gain access to special abilities!
- Automate the grind with Mekanism version 10 and create a vast storage network with Refined Storage
- Decorate your home with the vast amount of new blocks and items!

Ram: We recommend you allocated 3-4GB minimum
Optifine: Works but is not supported. Optifine is known to screw up other mods. I have however been using it for the past week or so and have experienced no issues.
Future Plans:
- More structures & dungeons are planned once more mods support 1.16.
- Mods that add more block variety.
- Game balance will be continuous.
- Tutorial books using Patchouli.
- Quests.
We recommend using the datapack Expanded Advancement and Recipe Pack. This datapack adds tons of new advancements to claim as you play.
FAQ:
Q: Can I stream or make video content on the modpack?
A: Yes, why would anyone say no? I love watching community made content so be sure to send it to me!
Q: I found a bug or an issue.
A: Please leave a comment and clearly explain the bug or issue. Some issues may be out of my control but I will do my best to make sure the right channels are aware of it.
Q: I have a cool idea for the pack!
A: I would love to hear any ideas that you guys have. The best ideas are usually community thought of.
Q: Where are the server files?
A: There aren't currently any server files released. Server files will be released once Forge 1.16 becomes more stable.
Q: How much ram is need for the modpack?
A: We recommend at least 3GB of ram. If you have extra ram to spare, 4GB should be plenty of ram for this pack.
Q: Is there an official server for this modpack?
A: Currently there is no server for this modpack. One can easily be created if there's an interest for it.
