Welcome to Epic Chaos! A new hardcore Modpack for MC 1.12.2! This pack is designed to be very difficult but also very rewarding.
The more you explore and risk the more you will gain... or lose...

You will have to fight against special mobs who will seek you out instead of allowing you to hide inside your base, Intense storms including hurricanes and tornados, Epic structures filled with custom enemies and the darkness itself!
You can't sleep. You can't hide! They are coming for you... Will you accept this challenge?
As stated before this pack is designed to be played in hardcore mode. This is not required but it's in the spirit of the pack.
Setup
I recommend allocating at least 8GB of ram to the client when playing this pack.
I would recommend taking a look at the Excavate and Wall jumping key binds to make sure you know them!
The included texture pack is optional but has some of my favorite tweaks(Clean glass, old lava texture, vanilla tools break visually based on their durability ect ect)
Features:
- Monsters will seek you out by digging pillaring and exploding their way to you
- New ways to traverse the game using wall jumping
- Robust and deadly weather system complete with tornados and hurricanes
- Tons of prefab structures to explore and raid appearing in all biomes and dimensions
- New and updated enemies to fight and loot
- More dangerous and diverse nether
- Underground biomes and new cave generation
- A world rich in new flora and fauna ready to be harvested and tamed
- Immersive sound overhaul adds echoes and realistic sound dampening in caves
- Hordes of zombies track you down when you are injured
- Aquatic update mod backports new features like swimming, floating items and water graphics
- Backported features from up to MC version 1.16
- A decent complement of tech mods(Thermal series, Industrial Foregoing, Ender IO, Actually Additions and more)
- Chance cubes and loot bags which add an air of randomness to your playthrough
- Tinkers' Construct with expanded tools and armory
- New audio on death to add flare to your many many deaths XD
- Much much much more

This pack was inspired by the OG 1.6.4 Madpack. My time in that pack were some of the best I've ever had in Minecraft! Thanks to Jon Bams and Kehaan for the inspiration and fun over the years <3
