Introduction to the "Evenly Enhanced" modpack

As its name suggests, this modpack evenly enhances every aspect of the Minecraft Game ———— performance, visuals, sounds, game mechanics, user interface...... while still preserving the vanilla flavor (No new blocks / items / creatures).

The pack also adds tons of QOL utilities, highly customizable and fitting perfectly with the original game. Overall, this pack can be the destination for lazyheads who have gotten tired at searching for mods and desperately need an all-in-one modpack to enjoy the game.

Runs on minecraft java 1.21.4, contains 80+ mods & a few resourcepacks, and uses fabric mod loader. To install this pack, simply add it to your modrinth launcher (or other unofficial launchers that supports the .mrpack format)

Features

Some of the features of the modpack are listed below:

• Significant performance boost. Thouroughly optimizes rendering, algorithms, chunk managing, multi-threading and network. Fixes hundreds of bugs. Thanks to every optimization mod added!
• Complete overhaul of the minecraft sound system:
  • Adds/remakes sounds effects of manu GUIs and games events througout the game. (Sounds)
  • Plays atmospheric sound effects of nature. (Ambient Sounds)
  • Implementing realistic sound physics to the game. (Sound Physics Remastered)
  • Much visual improvement over the original game:
    • Supports shaders. (Iris)
    • Adds/remakes tons of detailed particle effects. (Subtle Effects)
    • Animates mobs (and the player, resourepack is off by default). (Fresh Animations, Fresh Moves)
    • Adds 3D models for ladders/crops/rails. (RAY's 3D Ladders&Rails, Crops-3d)
  • More information display:
    • Contains a worldmap, accessible by pressing M.(Xaero's World Map)
    • Contains detail recipes about everything in the game. (REI)
    • Displays saturation, a food/hunger-related attribute. (Appleskin)
    • Shows tool/weapon durability. (Durability Viewer Updated)
    • Shows information about what the player is looking at. (Jade)
  • Revamped UI:
    • Smooth scrolling, transitions, fonts, item swapping (in player's inventory). (Modern UI, Smooth Scroll, Smooth Gui, Smooth Swapping)
    • Debug mode gets cleaner. (Clean F3)
    • Rewrites "Statistics" and "Advancements" screen.(Better Statistics Screen, Better Advancements)
    • Better HUD when riding. (Better Mount HUD, ...)
  • Many improvements in game mechanics:
    • Harvest crops and replant them by right-cliking (Actually Harvest).
    • Carry mobs and chests with bare hands (Carry On).
    • Blast furnaces & smokers now have more recipes (Blasting/Smoking Plus, Rotten Flesh to Leather).
    • Axes are now a true combat weapon, using the right amount of durability and supporting weapon enchantments (Axes Are Weapons).
    • Break whole trees by cutting one piece (Falling Tree).
    • High resolution screenshots (Fabrishot). An ultra-smooth zoom mod (OkZoomer).
    • Inventory/container sorting by middle-clicking (ClientSort).
    • Adds an option to refresh trade options in villagers (Trade Cycling).
  • And more.

Note that for mods with similar features, comprehensive decisions have been made to keep the best ones for the pack.

Disabled Features

Some features are included in the pack but are by default disabled. There are 2 possible reasons for this.

1. The features significantly change some functions of the world and may break the balance of the game.
2. The features can be an optional addon that won't affect the game much.

How you can enable the features:

• a minimap (Xaero's Minimap): Mod Settings - Xaero's Minimap - Enable minimap
• a mod that reshapes minecraft terrains (Tectonic): Enable the mod file in your launcher. Note that loaded chunks in your world won't update to the new terrains, so be sure not to enable this mod mid-game.
• an upgradable backpack (Resource Backpack's): Enable the mod files (the mod, the config, and the library) in your launcher
• a veinminer mod (Liteminer): Enable the mod file in your launcher

Schedule

In the furture, the pack plans to develop a lite version, which will exclude many functions and utilities to better preserve the original gameplay.
