Explore, Tinker, Build - A Vanilla Expansion

This is a vanilla+ modpack focused on content expansion mods that fit within the vanilla gameplay loop, such as Biomes O' Plenty, Farmer's Delight, Alex's Mobs, Alex's Caves, The Aether, Chipped and more. This also includes Create, multiple Create addons, and some redstone expansion mods, making it a functional tech modpack of a sort, though completely focused on Create and redstone systems rather than any FE based tech mods. There are also a variety of quality of life and performance mods to fix certain issues with the base vanilla game.

This is vanilla+  less in the sense that all these features could fit in the base game, but rather in the sense that all these mods have a similar gameplay loop to vanilla (building Create contraptions has a similar feel to building redstone contraptions, for example), to the point that I believe you can play this modpack just like you would play vanilla Minecraft, but simply with so much more content to mess around with.

Please note: this modpack was primarily created for use by a few friends, and as such there are a few config settings that align with their preferences that might not be preferred for other people. Most notably, natural spawning of drowneds is turned off using the bad mobs mod due to some people being annoyed by trident wielding drowneds being too powerful for a common overworld mob. All their drops have alternate methods to obtain them, and the craftable mob spawners mod should still allow for making drowned farms if desired, but if you want them to spawn naturally you will need to edit the bad mobs config file.

A couple other mobs also have natural spawning turned off, though these shouldn't affect standard Minecraft gameplay as much as with drowneds: blazes (still spawn in fortresses), straddlers, crimson mosquitos, and ocean creepers.
