FajitaCraft Evolved
(latest update = V1.8.0)
by DELIBRIUM_
🧭 About the Pack
Welcome to FajitaCraft Evolved, my first ever modpack project.
I’m DELIBRIUM_, and this pack is currently in a mostly complete, playable, and stable state, but still considered a work in progress. The reason for that is simple: I’m still learning, especially when it comes to more advanced systems like script injection and deeper mod integration. Because of that, you may occasionally notice a few rough edges compared to the highly polished “big name” modpacks.
That said, the core experience is fully functional and designed to be enjoyed right now.
⚙️ Core Vision
FajitaCraft Evolved is a light-to-medium sized modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 that brings back the golden era of modded Minecraft (1.1–1.16) and reimagines it for a modern version of the game.
It is built around one idea:
“Nostalgia served on a hot skillet.”
This pack is about blending the feeling of older modded Minecraft with modern stability, performance, and quality-of-life improvements.
🧱 Main Focus
FajitaCraft Evolved is built for players who enjoy:
- ⚙️ Tech progression and automation
- 🔬 Exploration and discovery
- 🚀 Laser tech and advanced machinery
- 🏗️ Colony building and long-term progression worlds
- 🧳 Reduced inventory clutter and smoother gameplay pacing
📦 Mod Inspiration & Core Mods
This pack draws inspiration from classic and modern mods alike, including:
- Mekanism
- Tinkers' Construct
- Silent Gear
- Bibliocraft
- Thermal expansion
- Mining Gadgets
- Productive Bees
- Botania
- Ars Nouveau
- Blood Magic
These are combined with additional modern mods to create a balanced experience between nostalgia and convenience.
🚧 Known Status & Limitations
While fully playable, this is still a learning project.
Some systems are not yet as refined as they could be due to limited experience with:
- Script injection systems
- Deep mod interoperability tuning
You may encounter:
- Minor balance inconsistencies
- Missing quality-of-life automation tweaks
- Systems that will be improved over time
However, the pack is designed to remain stable and enjoyable in its current form.
🔮 Future Planned Updates
Planned improvements include:
- 🎨 Custom loading screen and enhanced main menu
- 🧠 Script injections for:
- Additional Curio slots
- Automatic Akashic Tome generation
- ⚙️ General performance tuning and progression smoothing
⏳ Intended Experience
FajitaCraft Evolved is designed to be:
- Not a hardcore grindfest
- Not a full-time job modpack
- Instead, a smooth, accessible progression experience
It is meant for players with limited time who still want a deep, rewarding modded experience.
❓ Q&A
Q: Is this pack beginner friendly?
A: Yes. It is designed to be playable without extreme prior modded experience, though some systems may require experimentation.
Q: Will the pack be updated often?
A: Updates will come as I improve my skills and refine systems. This is an evolving project.
Q: Can I use this on servers?
A: Yes, as long as the server supports the required mods and configuration.
Q: Why 1.20.1?
A: It offers modern stability while still allowing a wide mod ecosystem.
Q: when i generate a new world i see two fps indicators?
A: Yes indeed, to remove these go into video settings and disable them both under embeddium and chloride.
Q: I see a blue greyish cloud icon in my inventory?
A: That is normal and is your curio slot for the Aether mod.
Q: I can't place down the tropical supply camp from stylecolonies?
A: That is because tropical style is ment to go on water and it's only possible as a supply ship.
Q:Why can't i put down a suppy camp from bits and bobs?
A: bits and bobs for minecolonies is an addon that only adds little builds to spruce up your colony and therefore it does not come with it's own supply camp.
Q: Why no byzantine style for minecolonies?
A: The Byzantine style pack glitched out during testing whereby the build tool and townhall would not spawn in the item frames as they should nor could i read the book or interact with it. So for now it's out.
Q: Why doesn't the Akashic Tome not work automatically?
A: I'm still learning on how to have players start out with a filled tome so for now you will have to add books manually.
