This modpack brings the terrifying Martian tripods from War of the Worlds into your Minecraft world! They will invade your landscape and leave total destruction in their wake. Do not try fighting them head-on—they are far too powerful. Scavenge the ruins of an abandoned world for resources, hide in the shadows, and find a way to fight back before it's too late...

Standing an intimidating 24 blocks tall, these towering war machines are nearly impossible to bring down, shrugging off almost all traditional damage except for explosions and projectiles. To hurt them, you have to aim carefully for their legs or strike a specific weak point on their head. They burst from the earth once an invasion kicks off, signaled by a barrage of lightning strikes hitting the same spot while your screen shakes violently beneath your feet. Their devastating heat-rays can instantly incinerate unprepared survivors, obliterate terrain blocks, and blast wide-area damage, while their toxic gas clouds unleash the wither effect on anyone nearby. Whenever a heat-ray claims a victim after the harvest has begun, eerie red weed starts creeping across the ground below. You'll hear their haunting horns echoing across the desolate landscape as they patrol. Taking one down yields valuable loot, but watch out—sometimes Martians crawl out of the wreckage, and if a tripod falls far enough away from you, its heavy metal carcass is left behind
