Farside's Pack for Friends

This is an extremely lightweight modpack focused on a mostly vanilla play style. 

Still pretty lightweight, though a lot of mods have been added, now you can think with portals, and morph into mobs! there is more magic, and more tech than before, along with some neat surprises for those who like to hop between worlds

It does have tinker's expansion in order to facilitate better than vanilla tools. Immersive engineering for tech, Psi as a magic mod, and Storage drawers / ender storage for improved chests. oh yeah and gravestones so you don't loose your gear, plus a mini map so you can remember where you died.
