What is this?

This modpack was created by dragonsflame246 and ginsengtea__ to help increase client performance when joining servers (if you are looking for more performance mods that will help increase performance in singleplayer that is currently in development). Minecraft can be an extremely demanding game on computers, especially lower end ones, and the mods included in this pack help to decrease its demand.

This pack was made with the goal of simply dragging and dropping it into any mods folder and playing with the effects of many performance mods. This pack will continue to be updated as current mods are updated, new ones added, or a new versions of Minecraft are released. Packs for older versions may be released in the future, however backporting is not our main focus. A forge version is in progress as well.

Blocks flashing when destroyed is a known sodium issue on some intel integrated graphics. If you are experiencing this issue, please try installing newer graphics drivers, or uninstalling sodium.

This pack was originally created for the community of SMP Earth after its update to 1.18. While this pack is not sponsored by them, I'd still recommend it as a fun server to play.
