Description

A 1.12 pack with some tweaks and quests aimed to guide progression to keep things new and fun

Quest Book: Quests are split into categories like Mining, Storage, so they guide you through different options for actually useful things instead of just being a series of crafting tasks with quest lines exclusive to one mod

Tweaks: Many crafting recipes have been changed to hopefully enhance the progression by slowing down progress towards the most convenient solutions for each task; e.g. instead of going straight for an ME system you could use the RFTools Storage Scanner, or Botania's Corporea networks.

Pack Aims: The player should not go straight to using the most efficient solution, instead earning said solution and having to use lesser-known mods and features to get there, hopefully without a huge grind.

Major Mods:

  • Magic: Botania, Astral Sorcery
  • Tech: Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Extra Utilities 2, Thermal Series, RF Tools + Control
  • World: NetherEx, Aether Legacy, Animania, Ice and Fire
  • Storage: Applied Energistics 2, Storage Drawers
  • Avaritia for endgame goals
  • Various building mods, like Chisel, Chisels & Bits, and Blockcraftery (1.12 Carpenter's Blocks)
  • and more but if I keep listing them it's just going to be the entire mod list
