Florwynne

This modpack is designed to be used to connect to the Florwynne SMP server. There are many server side mods and adjustments missing that will give you a vastly different experience if you try to use it in singleplayer. In the future I may put together a singleplayer friendly pack, but for now the focus is on making sure server players can easily update their modpack and connect to the server with minimal issues. 

Currently Florwynne is in closed beta, and not open to new players. Its just a server for friends. Downloading the pack will not automatically give you access to the server.

Journey to the growing kingdom of Florwynne, where what could have been a great calamity has been turned into a... magical opportunity. Florwynne is nestled in a peaceful pocket dimension managed by the great mage Flynn, and is connected to bountiful resource dimensions via a series of rift portals maintained by powerful mages. Will you master a craft and start a shop, maybe live a peaceful agrarian life, or journey into the rifts to face dangers for magic and riches? Or perhaps you fancy a mix of all of the above? Learn the history of Florwynne, choose your destiny, and make your mark on the world!

Magic, magic, and more magic! A wide variety of different D&D style magical spells are available for you to discover and master. Or maybe you prefer to channel your inner potion seller and experiment with ingredients to brew unique elixirs of varying boons. Those partial to tinkering can craft unique and powerful gear with special magical effects. Those inclined to mystical beast rearing can tame and buff a variety of familiars with unique abilities.

Farming and Ranching! Nearly 100 crops and fruit trees for you to collect and grow through the seasons, with around 400 different meals to craft. Varied diets are rewarded with stat bonuses, creating demand for chefs. Genetic Animals and Realistic Horse Genetics change livestock into more dynamic counterparts with actual genetics for you to discover and mold into your perfect herds.

Neverending resources! If you crave adventure, grab your gear and engage the hostile resource dimensions full of wondrous wildlife, crops, ores, magic, and unique treasures! Resource dimensions are wiped regularly to make sure there is enough adventure and treasure for everyone. Rifts include an expanded Nether, End, and a custom Overworld-style dimension, referred to as the Scorch, Void, and Lush rifts, respectively.

Show your creativity! Tons upon tons of blocks for you to build with. You can also create paintings, compose music pieces, format books, and practice photography in game! Display your work in your home or share it with others!

Economy focused server! Build shops or put listings in the auction house. Team up with other players to create enterprises or strike out on your own. Sell shops and quests are also set up in the capital as a way for folks to make some starter cash.

No Microtransactions! In-game content will never be gated behind a paywall nor will there be pay-to-win mechanics. Growing your farm/business is done strictly with in-game currency earned through playing! Donations are accepted if you wish to support hosting the server, but donating will give non-tradeable cosmetics and our sincere thanks.
