A hardcore technology-focused modpack where GregTech is tightly interwoven with magic, research, and slow, deliberate progression.

ForgeBorn is a modpack where every machine, every material, and every upgrade must be earned.

The modpack offers a unique and hardcore experience that will definitely leave you satisfied! There are different progression paths, meaning you can play in different ways and are free (partially) from linear progression.

You play as the famous scientist Thomas Anderson. You will go a long way from primitive technologies and difficult survival in a unique post-apocalyptic world, where people and elves destroyed each other and nature took over the Earth. During the game, you will try to find answers to the main character's questions and try to turn back time to save everyone you loved. The sheer number of hardcore mobs will make it impossible to feel safe, and you'll need to constantly worry about your life and travel to advance the story and technology.
