About
Description
Fungineering is a smaller tech-only modpack for 1.10.2 with a focus on infrastructure building and space exploration/exploitation. This is a hybrid modpack with survival, exploration and progression aspects tuned for casual long-term play.
Design: Flight and teleportation are avoided (or disabled) and instead physical transportation using trains and rockets is strongly encouraged. Mods were chosen with a preference for multiblock structures and overlapping functionality was generally avoided.
Description: Fungineering features a (very) slightly more difficult survival experience: food, crops, resources and transportation will all be a little harder to come by than in most packs. Progression leads through a small but coherent set of mods including Forestry and Immersive Engineering. Advanced Rocketry fuels a late game of space exploration and exploitation in a custom galaxy of handcrafted planets.
Features:
- Progression based recipe changes integrate mods but don't significantly increase cost.
- Lots of custom Advanced Rocketry features including:
- A custom galaxy with 7 star systems and over 40 planets/moons to explore!
- Unique asteroid types to be mined for general resources and progression.
- McJTY's Lost Cities mod integrated as a planet.
- Planets with adjusted mob spawning.
- Draconic Evolution heavily gated behind all other content serving as an endgame goal.
- Custom Spice of Life formula that is significantly more friendly.
- Hunger Overhaul is similarly limited, food is more important not a chore.
- A full suite of UI mods for quality of life.
- A selection of graphical/immersion mods to improve player experience.
- COFH driven, balanced, oregen with no overlapping spawns.
- Clean JEI (unused items hidden), profiled JER.
- Full oredict unification - only one ore/ingot/plate/etc of each type
- All crafting conflicts resolved.
- Default keybinds and settings resolve conflicts and ensure things work well out of the box.
Guide: A guide to help with the progression changes and some of the less common mod mechanics can be accessed in game through the guides button in the player inventory gui.
Mod List:
Server files: I will not be providing server files, but a server can easily be created by downloading the appropriate version of forge. Installing the server files and copying the "config", "mods", "resources" and "scripts" folders over.
