Gambleth
Oh no, you've lost all of your money playing slots again! Luckily the Casino Master is offering you a deal that you can't refuse - help their main Janitor clean up the pest-infested basement of the building in exchange for some extra amount of those sweet-sweet poker chips.
Fight various enemies in randomly-generating rooms, get in situations where your ability to play with unconventional weapon choices could spell life or death for you, gamble with your winnings in exchange for improving your odds of survival during runs, and break your addiction to escape this place once and for all!
This modpack has been made for the Just Enough Opinions Packjam 2, which is a competition to create the best possible pack within a three-week timeframe in accordance to a specific theme - which this time was "casino". I also happen to be the host of said packjam, so I can't actually win in it, but making this was fun nonetheless ;)
This was probably the most fun I had while making a modpack, probably because creating this required my knowledge in a lot of areas I like engaging in - unconventional KubeJS scripts, voice acting, drum-n-bass music picking from newgrounds, fun stuff!
I now have made a separate Discord linked in the project socials tab for my solo packs. Do join that if you want to discuss strategies for this pack or my previous entry to the first packjam - The Gardener Was Replaced. Also join the JEOcord, that's the project I currently put most of my time into so it would be nice to see more people join <3
If you are looking for the serverpack to play multiplayer, it's available in the attached GitHub repo in the releases tab. Beware, multiplayer was NOT tested during development, and thus you should only try it at your own risk.
