Description
Gears & Garrisons
A two-player Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge) pack. One of you builds a MineColonies colony, the other a Create factory, and together you take six bosses through the Boss Gate.
How it plays
- The colony is the armory and pantry. Citizens mine, farm and cook, and the Blacksmith forges your armor: iron first, then plate armor, then netherite.
- The factory is the arsenal. Brass, steel, trains and an AE2 network, plus Create: Gunsmithing guns from the flintlock to the gatling and rocket launcher, with automated ammo lines.
- A 56-quest book follows the real tech path. Each chapter asks for what the last one unlocked, and each boss quest waits until both of you have done your part.
- Six bosses, one gate. The Scrap Golem, Raider Warlord, Furnace Heart, Wither Knight, Deep Warden and Brass Tyrant. Each fight needs an offering that mixes colony goods and factory goods, plus the previous boss's trophy. Trophies are keys, so you keep them.
Install
- Install the pack with the CurseForge app, or with Prism Launcher (Add Instance > CurseForge).
- Give the game 8 GB of RAM (the CurseForge app picks this up from the pack; in Prism: Edit > Settings > Java > Maximum memory allocation).
- Playing together: join one FTB team so you share the quest book. One player runs
/ftbteams party create <name>and/ftbteams party invite <friend>, and the friend accepts.
A server works too: the Boss Gate, quests and bosses all run on the server side.
