Genesis: The Enhanced Vanilla Experience

IMPORTANT: DISABLE THE SHADERS FOR THE TRUE PERFORMANCE BENEFITS, WILL HELP MAXIMIZE SHADER PERFORMANCE, BUT WILL NOT ATAIN THE SAME FPS! I AM NOT THE ORIGINAL  AUTHOR OF THESE MODS, THIS IS A MODPACK FOR EASE OF ACCESS TO BETTER IN GAME PERFORMANCE, PLEASE STILL SUPPORT THE CREATORS ON THEIR RESPECTIVE PAGES IF YOU ENJOY THESE MODS!

I ask that you do recognize the original mod authors that spent time and effort in making these mods. Now, here is what you can expect in this optimized participation of some of the best performance mods and a truly iconic game:

This mod features mods that are client-side, meaning they do not affect the actuall gameplay, just edit how the game uses its logic, and it essentially takes the logic and improves it to make it faster and therefore run better. For example, sodium and sodium + (veiw their respective pages to support them) allow you to have acess to setting you would normaly not have acess to in the base game. You can customize what particles you render (as oppose to how many) thread allocation to terrain gen (to make chunks load faster, I reccomend default for FPS) And lighting client-side mod that will allow shaders to run more smoothly (more GPU efficent) so that you can play with shaders. You will still have acess to the base video settings (render distance, ect) and more (some more customized features, like lowering the display on macbook/macbook air for those computers respectivley) Other than the extended lists of performance options, the game remains in its vanilla state, and is still fully compatable with servers without these mods.

This modpack is for those who seek the Vanilla experience. This pack utilizes the leading performance mods dedicated to making your computer run as best as possible. I saw a massive FPS difference between before and after I ran this pack. you can see the performance tests here: specs:

 I tested with graphics on fast (in all categories) entity distance 50%, singleplayer world, and 10 chunk simulation, render, and shadow distances, on both before and after, and with the display resolution lowered (in sodium extra) settings, as well as shaders disabled. I allocated 4GB of RAM to the game. I also used a optimized version of java as the default path (optional) to get rid of the built-in silicon-java process so mac can run java natively. Your FPS may vary depending on the system, and to my best knowledge this will actually work better on PC, and considering the already decent performance jump, this pack is just that much more efficent (and the mod authors that much more talented).
