The world of Terralith and Tough Beginnings will make it harder to get basic tools but then you can craft powerfull armor magical items and weapons with that battle orcs and goblins.
Ofcourse if you do not want to fight you can trade with Ribbits or friendly goblin traders and explore this world stuck in the fantazy middle ages.
