Goshriik's Tech & Adventure Pack

A large modpack containing various tech and adventure mods.

Technology

Tech mods provide many ways of automating your minecraft experience, from simply harvesting crops, to providing automation of entire supply chains of resources (from quarry, to smelting, to transport, to crafting).  This pack contains numerous technical mods that grow with you as you progress through the tiers of resources available in the game.  Some examples of these tech mods are listed below:

• Applied Energistics - Convert matter into data and store it, pipe it, and warp it.
• Immersive Engineering - Adds machines driven on fuel and motion with a more "realistic" feel and a neat wiring system!
• Industrial Craft - Adds quarries and various complex machines to transform the world.
• PneumaticCraft - Power various machines through pressure differences and air!
• Thermal Mods - A very clean and automatable tech mod with a huge variety of machine types, from smelting, to enchanting, to crop growth!

Adventure

This modpack contains both Biomes o' plenty for much more variety in biome types and The Lost Cities to allow derelict city-scapes to be created during world generation.  For the adventuring types there are also a few added dimensions that provide even more exploration options:

• Erebus - Fight off hordes of insects in this creepy crawly dimension.
• The Aether - Traverse beautiful - and hazardous - sky islands
• The Twilight Forest - Explore a world in perpetual twilight, that appears tranquil and peaceful... on the surface.
• Dimensional Doors - Find mysterious doors to other dimensions of varying safety... or make your own!

Additionally, the Ice and Fire mod allows for more danger (dragons) and adventure on the overworld by adding an array of mythical beasts.

Utility

Tinker's construct with add-ons is included to provide unparalleled customization of equipment.  Use various materials throughout the world to change the behavior of your gear.  Level it up through use to add even more modifiers!  Want an electrified, poisonous, cactus based shuriken?  You can make it!

To complement the custom armors with various movement types, both the grappling hook mod and simply jetpacks mod are included.  Swing around a ctiy-scape like Spiderman, or rocket about like Iron Man.  Options abound!

Chickens and Roost are included as a means of generating extra resources through various silly species of chicken. Woot is also included for to allow automated destruction of enemy monsters to collect their loot (woot for loot!).

Magic

For those with more of a sorcerer's sentiment a few magic mods are included:

• Astral Sorcery - Gain star power through celestial observation
• Blood Magic - Offer up your lifeforce and that of your enemies to empower your art
• Psi - Hack reality to create your own magic
  
• Thaumcraft 6 - Use Thaumaturgy to refine the essence of the world into objects of power and customizable spells.  Or just build an army of Golems.
  

 Bells & Whistles

There are a few fun mods that add lots of baubles and character customization to the pack.  They require varying levels of effort to allow simple and deeper customization:

• Hats - Collect hats from fallen foes, and brag about them to your friends...  Careful though, they may try to take them.
• Botania - Using many flower petals conjure up a variety of magical and functional goods... And a colossal array of costume items
• Morph - Do you really like creepers?  Wish you could be one?  Now you can!  Defeat an enemy to take its form!  Uses the '[' and ']' keys to transform
