🦇 Gotham SMP Modpack — Overview

Gotham SMP is a Minecraft roleplay-focused modpack designed to turn your world into a superhero-style city where players can take on different roles, explore Gotham, fight criminals, and create their own stories.

The project is centered around a large urban environment that gives players places to explore and roleplay, including:

• Build a custom crime-fighting team

🔫 Combat & Weapons

The combat system can be expanded with modern weapons and improved fighting mechanics. This makes encounters with criminals, villains, and other players more dynamic.

🚗 Vehicles

Gotham becomes much more useful for roleplay when vehicles are available. Players can use vehicles for:

• Police pursuits
• Criminal getaways
• Batman-style patrols
• Transportation around the city
• Large-scale action scenes

🎙️ Voice & Roleplay

With Simple Voice Chat, players can communicate naturally while playing. This makes things like police radio conversations, investigations, team meetings, and emergency calls much more immersive.

🎭 How It Affects the Player

The modpack changes Minecraft from a normal survival experience into more of a Gotham roleplay/action experience.

Instead of simply asking:

“What should I build?”

players can have goals such as:

Batman: Patrol Gotham → investigate a crime → chase a villain → return to the Batcave.

Police: Respond to crimes → investigate suspects → pursue criminals → protect civilians.

Criminal: Plan crimes → escape police → hide from Batman → build a criminal organization.

Civilian: Explore Gotham → work jobs → interact with other players → become involved in the city's stories.

Gotham SMP = Minecraft + Gotham City + superheroes + vehicles + weapons + voice chat + player-created stories.

The biggest feature is that the players create the story. The mods provide the tools, while the SMP's players decide whether Gotham becomes a peaceful city, a crime-filled city, or a full-scale Batman universe.
