One of the best packs 1.12.2 has to offer, and in my opinion is up there with E2E. I played this on expert mode.

This is quite a strongly exploration-focused pack, although does include and recommend automation for expert difficulty. World exploration is heavily rewarded with structures that make your early-game life easier, loot that comes in handy at all stages of the game, and mining is quite unique and interesting compared to your normal experience by encouraging cave diving facilitated by custom cave generation.

For 1.12.2 and over 500 mods, it runs very well, but does still require a competent computer and instructions to be followed for maximum effect. TPS became a serious issue at times though.

The pack includes a number of custom assets which generally look good and appropriate - they aren't anything like more the more detailed and 'smooth' modern art styles, but don't look bad or out of place. They are styled in a familiar way if you prefer or more commonly play older versions of Minecraft.

I have personal gripes about Botania and the Gaia Guardian though. Its damage attenuation (cannot be hurt for more than a certain amount of health) is not fun and just makes the fight tedious. This isn't really a pack problem, but I do wish it was configured differently so it wasn't the case.
