GRIDBOUND HORIZONS

Create Engineering • Logistics • Power • Reclamation
Minecraft NeoForge 1.21.1

Description

Gridbound Horizons is a Create-focused engineering modpack centred on rebuilding a connected industrial civilisation from the remnants of one that came before.

Long ago, humanity reached the height of technological achievement. Vast power grids spanned continents, factories never slept, and experimental dimensional technology promised limitless expansion.

Then, without warning, everything collapsed.

The world was left fractured. Villages, abandoned mineshafts and ruined portals remain as scattered reminders of a forgotten age. Deep beneath the surface lie the mysterious Ancient Cities, where the Wardens continue to guard secrets that were never meant to be uncovered.

You are one of the few survivors with the knowledge to rebuild.

At the heart of the pack is Create: Electro Energetics, making electricity the foundation of every engineering project. Generate power, construct transmission networks and supply factories, railways, ports, airfields and settlements as your civilisation expands.

Build specialised facilities across the world and connect them through trains, ships, aircraft, road vehicles and advanced transport systems. Every new project becomes another part of a growing industrial network, encouraging thoughtful planning, regional expansion and large-scale engineering rather than isolated automation.

Whether you build a steelworks, refinery, cargo port, railway hub, industrial city, underground complex or massive airborne shipyard, every project contributes to something larger.

Design. Connect. Rebuild. Expand.

World Vision

Gridbound Horizons is built around creating a living industrial civilisation instead of a single self-contained megabase.

Factories produce resources for other factories. Power stations energise entire regions. Railways move real cargo. Ports move goods between settlements. Airfields connect distant industries. Warehouses distribute materials across the network.

Every structure should exist because the wider civilisation needs it.

What that civilisation ultimately becomes is entirely up to you.

Your Objective

Expand across the world by constructing specialised facilities linked through electrical infrastructure and transportation networks.

Every railway should move cargo.
Every power station should supply industry.
Every port should serve a purpose.
Every factory should strengthen the wider network.
Every discovery should help reclaim what was lost.

The future of civilisation is yours to build.

Design. Connect. Rebuild. Expand.

Performance

Gridbound Horizons is designed for long-term worlds, from small starter workshops to continent-spanning industrial networks.

A wide range of optimisation mods is included to support large factories, transport systems and expanding infrastructure while maintaining a smooth gameplay experience.

Performance will vary depending on your hardware, render distance, shader selection, world age, factory complexity and chunk loading. Well-planned logistics, efficient factory layouts and sensible chunk loading will naturally provide the best performance as your industrial civilisation grows.
