We return to the story of Guijarromon. By the time you read this, it may already be too late. So rather than dwelling on the beginning, let us skip straight to the heart of the matter.

Guijarromon's world was doomed from the very start. Arceus abandoned us, and in our despair and sorrow, we cried out for help. Any helping hand, no matter whose it was, seemed worth grasping.

How foolish we were.

The hand that reached out to us came from the depths of our darkest fears. In our desperation to survive, we welcomed what should have terrified us. Now that the fog has begun to clear, will you recognize the danger for what it truly is? And what if, by the time you uncover the truth, you decide that the struggle for your so-called "freedom" is no longer worth the cost?

In this adventure, Darkrai will offer us safe haven… so long as we continue to entertain him. But tread carefully, for one question remains:

What could possibly entertain a god of nightmares?
