What's this all about?

Enhanced Survival for Minecraft: Java Edition is a compilation of 400+ mods by hundreds of authors. Many modpacks focus in on one area: technology, exploration, action, or adventure. These often leave the greater half of the game feeling lack-luster, as they have not been modified as heavily. Enhanced Survival aims to fix this by enhancing every part of the game equally. It focuses on enhancing every aspect of the survival and sandbox experience, while also containing optimization mods to ensure everyone can have a good time, no matter the setup.

Modpack goals & values

I had several central goals in mind when creating the modpack, so you can see what type of experience this pack is tailored for; the goals in descending order (most important to least important) are:

#1 Fabric Supremacy

• This is a hot topic, I know, I know. Fabric is better and people who say it isn't are wrong.

#2 Optimization is Key

• Since we've gone with the Fabric Loader, optimization is now easier than ever; which is good because, in modpacks, it's more important than ever.
• There are 100+ mods installed in this modpack solely designed to better the host's performance.
• I want as many people as possible to be able to play this modpack.

#3 Reliability is Important

• The pack is built with mods that are either known for their quality, or have been stress-tested to prove it.
• I'm actively avoiding mods that are known to be not well-made or known to cause issues with clients.
• With this many mods installed, you need to be able to rely on your game.

#4 The More to Experience, the Better

• MODS, MODS, MODS, MODS, MODS, MODS!
• Very few people add modpacks to their games because they want a small amount of additions.
• The goal of this modpack is to expand every avenue of the Minecraft experience.
• There should always be more to see, explore, craft, and build. I've built the pack with this goal in mind.
