Short description: Ever felt like you wanted to put the craft back in minecraft? How about build back in Buildcraft? or TerraFirmaCraft back in Minecraft, in 1.12.2, with extra mod compatibility? Say hello to HEXCORE, where we did some of those things. You can expect a similar design philosophy to redstone throughout this pack, where solutions usually aren't straightforward, mechanics are finnicky, and mastering them feels almost like learning a science. TerraFirmaCraft's tech tree is extended via mods such as Better With Mods and Buildcraft, and some fun, completely optional (crazy, right?) toys are thrown in like Pneumaticcraft and Psi.
Some more design principles:
- Most tedium TFC has by default can be overcome through ingenuity, even early-game
- Most blocks aren't intended to merely be a progression step, and should be viable through the late-game
- Underappreciated mods have a bit of a priority; e.g. RetroComputers, Prodigy Tech, Autoverse, Factory Tech
- Almost never is there a single solution or block that is undoubtedly the best, as every solution has its drawbacks
- I wonder what would happen if RF could only be transported via minecarts... wait this doesn't belong here
