About
Description
There's a fog rolling in over the water, but the forests and caves are darker than they've ever been before. Where is safe? Where can you hide?
This modpack features several atmospheric mods and resource packs to make Minecraft feel more like a horror game. It does have a few potential jumpscares, but the main focus isn't on dwellers. Instead, it appears as though someone else is in your world, playing the game with you.
As you progress in this modpack, you may feel like you're being watched (Paranoid), hear footsteps and knocking at night (The Knocker), or even notice blocks have been moved or broken (000.jar). You may feel your sanity slipping (Sanity: Descent into Darkness), so get to work making yourself a cozy home with carpeted floors and plush fabrics (Handcrafted) to help feel more at ease. Escape into the Twilight Forest for a reprieve from unknown monsters; you'll be collecting dandelions for flower garlands anyways so a portal shouldn't be too hard to make.
Arm yourself and surround your base with all manners of walls, turrets, barbed wire, electric fences, and more to defend against the mobs that lurk in the shadows. Beware the darkness and make sure to stay in the light! Who knows what lurks within?
Please note: this modpack contains two different mods that include maps and minimaps. This is intentional. If you would prefer to use one over the other (FTB Chunks vs Xaero's), please feel free to disable the other in the mod menu. I personally use Xaero's for my main map and FTB for my minimap.
