A dragon adventure with classic magic, machines and a base to call home.

Part One is the Minecraft 1.12.2 entry in this dragon-themed series. Dragon Fire V1 sits alongside familiar technology and magic mods, giving you room to explore the world, develop a home base and follow the systems you enjoy most.

What you can do

  • Dragon-themed adventure: Dragon Fire V1 supplies the central dragon and creature content for this release.
  • Magic and discovery: Thaumcraft and Blood Magic add research, rituals and magical systems alongside the dragon theme.
  • A practical home base: Applied Energistics 2, AE2 wireless terminals, Ender IO and RFTools support storage, machinery and automation.
  • Tools and building: Tinkers' Construct, Tinkers' Tool Leveling, Chisel and Chisels & Bits let you develop your equipment and shape your base.
  • Everyday convenience: Waystones, Iron Backpacks, Iron Chests and Corail Tombstone make travel, storage and recovering from adventures more convenient.

Getting started

  1. Install this modpack through the CurseForge app and choose the release you want to play.
  2. Launch its profile with Java 8. Keep the bundled mod versions and configuration together.
  3. For multiplayer, all players need the same modpack release as the server.

Updating: Back up your worlds before updating. Use a separate profile to try a new release before moving an existing world.

The three Dragon packs are separate modpacks on different Minecraft versions. Their worlds are not intended to be moved between parts.

Mod information & support

The selected release determines the exact mod versions. Check its Relations/Dependencies and the mod list included in the export for the full list. Gameplay details and recipes depend on those versions.

For pack issues, leave a project comment with the modpack release, Minecraft and Java versions, the steps to reproduce the problem, and the relevant crash report or log.
