Huzzah's Zombies

Huzzah's Zombies is a gritty, grounded zombie survival modpack built around tension, immersion, and barely scraping by when the world has already ended. Zombies are no longer a minor nuisance. With Day Zombies Rebooted, the undead are more dangerous, more persistent, and far less forgiving, turning cities and nights into genuine death traps instead of XP farms.

Combat leans hard into realism and weight. Firearms from Timeless and Classics Zero and Marbled's Arsenal give you real firepower, but ammo is precious and movement matters, especially with Tactical Movement changing how you fight and survive. Every encounter is a risk, whether you're clearing a building or getting jumped in the rain, which is made even more atmospheric thanks to Sound Physics Remastered and Alternative Rain Sounds.

The world itself feels more alive and more ruined. Visual upgrades like Fresh Animations, Tissou's Zombie Pack, Better Leaves, and Complementary Shaders dramatically enhance immersion without turning the game into a slideshow, while performance mods like Embeddium and FerriteCore keep things running smoothly. Small quality-of-life touches like Falling Trees, AppleSkin, JEI, and No Baby Zombies make survival less annoying without removing the challenge.

This modpack is best experienced as a slow, methodical apocalypse. Loot carefully. Pick your fights. Secure shelter before nightfall. Every extra day alive is a victory worth celebrating.
