About
Description
A Demi-God descended from the heavens to lord over the mortals of Illyria,
Beloved by all and with boundless power they benevolently reigned,
Boundless power... for a mortal,
That was not enough, that was not what they sought,
But that power was not meant for them,
And now Illyria is no more.
Survive in a frigid world encompassed by ice, and incessant snow fall. The old world is gone, its inhabitants devolved into nightmares, its civilization forgotten to time, its ruler left in solitude. Few survivors yet still wander this icey corspe, You must weather the elements and gather them to rebuild what was lost.
Features:

- The entire world is turned into ice biomes with constant snow accumulation via Primal Winter
- Manage your body temperature and heat your home via Cold Sweat
- Build and manage your own lively colony full of NPCs with plenty of styles to choose from via MineColonies

Cold Sweat Tips:
- Don't worry it's not that hard I promise!
- Cold Sweat has in-game difficultly options that you can freely change at any time to make it easier, or harder (How to get to them is explained in the Difficulty Settings quest chapter in-game, along with other optional help for the early game).
- You have a 12 minute grace period when your spawn into the world (and everytime you die), use that to your advantage (and maybe turn on KeepInventory to abuse it 🤷♀️).
- Underground caves are typically around room temperature, so head down there right away! (or even live down there if you want, there are underground colony options!)
- Craft a thermometer ASAP! ( Temps below 50 = Cold | Temps above 100 = Hot )
- Always carry a flint and steel with you for emergency warmth.
- Two campfires are generally needed to offset the cold, so I recommend setting up multiple campfire sites around your base to provide "get warm" spots while outside.
- Fully insulated armor (or a goat fur armor set) will keep you warm for about an entire Minecraft day.
- Waterskins last for about 2 mins while passive heating you.
- Holding a torch or lantern in your hand (or off-hand) will warm you up a little bit.
- Villages are warmer than their surroundings.
- The Nether is still hot, so be prepared!
Other Tips:
- Snow layers accumulate on already existing snow constantly (i.e. during clear weather), but new snow layers are only created while actively snowing / thunderstorming.
- Snow accumulation stops when it reaches 1 block high.
- Weather is also not skipped / cleared after sleeping.
- Torches melt snow in a 2 block raidus, while lanterns and campfires melt snow in a 3 block radius (melt and prevent snow accumulation).
- Husks spawn during the day in cities.
- The Solas shaders are about twice as demanding as the Complementary shaders
RAM:
- Minimum: 3 - 4 GB
- Recommended: 5 - 6 GB
- Maximum: 7 - 8 GB
