Description
The goal of this Modpack:
This Modpack is an extension of Minecraft's core idea: Creativity.
This is for the roleplayers out there, the ones to want to feel more immersed in Minecraft's core mechanics such as Mining, Building and Exploring.
There are many different worlds to explore so there is always something new to see and do, with graphics and sound enhancing mods it will pull you in for hours.
A few standout features:
> Capsules: You can pickup your home and take it anywhere! You even start off with a portable home with some wooden tools to get your started.
> Temperature: Seasons will come and go and you will need to craft clothes and stay near campfires to get warm during the snow.
> Food & Thirst: The game now has thirst, to finally give water bottles purpose. It also has hundreds of different food options.
> NPCs: Scattered around the map are NPC Settlements that you can help grow, follow quests & trade with.
> Dungeons, Caves & Laboratories: The underground of Minecraft has been revamped to be more exciting. Bigger caves, atmospheric noises, sound reverb. There are also massive dungeons and laboratories to explore!
> Nether: The Nether has been overhauled completely with the NetherEx mod. New biomes, mobs, ores to discover!
Why this modpack stands out:
Most Realism Modpacks focus on difficulty and raw survival. They accomplish this with instant-kill mobs and tedious progression.
Some people love this, others might find it frustrating and too limiting. This Modpack intends to solve that problem and serve the players that just want an immersive experience exploring Minecraft.
Performance:
You will probably definitely need Optifine for this, I'm sure you know where to grab it.
The latest version for 1.12.2 works fine.
I recommend allocating at least 4GB and setting Render Distance to around 12 Chunks.
Don't travel too quickly or you may find issues with NPC Settlements not spawning.
