Description
Tame and ride dragons, explore randomly generated dungeons with massive loot, marry villagers and become a king! You can do it all in this modpack.
This is a medieval modpack with ~80 mods that enhance the Minecraft experience. This modpack adds spellcrafting, fantasy creatures and RPG elements.
The main resourcepack, 'Excalibur' by Maffhew not only retextures Minecrafts ingame assets to appear more fantasy driven, but it also includes third-party resource pack support for ALL main gameplay mods in this pack via various mod authors that allows for a more immersive gameplay experience.
Credit to all mod and resourcepack authors for this modpack.
Two Editions - Xaeros Minimap / JourneyMap
There are two editions of this modpack depending on your preferred map mod - the base version has Xaeros Minimap/World Map and an alternative version that has JourneyMap instead (marked as JM). Both editions are client side only, which just means if you use this modpack for a server anyone can use either edition. Waystones will be recognised in both server-wide but there won't be server-wide waypoints/markers. Players will have to add them individually.

Resourcepack Load Order
UPDATE: As of v1.2, all resourcepacks hypothetically SHOULD be automatically applied in order thanks to the Paxi mod. You do not need to do anything, but if it does not load or is in incorrect order for some reason, the following guide will help you! Reach out if there are any issues <3
IMPORTANT: This reads from what to add first. This means if everything is done right, Excalibur should be at the bottom of all loaded active resourcepacks list and the top most resourcepack would be Villager Clothing Additions. There will be other resourcepacks there that are not listed. Those do not need to be added and may mess up textures if you do add them. The default resourcepacks that are automatically there do NOT need to be touched. Excalibur should be above them in load order.
Load Order:
1) Excalibur (Excalibur_V1.20.zip)
2) ANY of the Excalibur additional mod support EXCEPT Excalibur | Fresh Animations Patch (EFA_1.10.4 Hotfix_1.zip)
3) Fresh Animations (FreshAnimations_v1.10.4.zip)
4) Excalibur | Fresh Animations Patch (EFA_1.10.4 Hotfix_1.zip)
5) MCA Default Medieval (MCAR_VanillaMedieval_Universal_1.20.x_Only_Clothes_byDE4THR4SH_v4.zip)
6) Villager Clothing Addition (VCA) for MCA Reborn (Villager Clothing Addition.zip)
7) Icons Xaero's
8) Xaero's Extended Mob Icons
OR (if using JourneyMap edition)
7) Icon Journey
8) Mythic Atlas - Journeymap Custom Icons
Shaderpack Settings
Loading in, the default shaderpack is Hysteria with a configured setting for that medieval ambiance. However, it may be too dark for some players at night - this can be configured in Minecraft's Settings>Video Settings>Oculus>(Hysteria Highlighted yellow) Shaderpack Settings. Altnernatively, there are a couple other shaderpacks I've added as alternatives as well so you can choose them instead :)
Thank you for downloading! Please leave a comment with any suggestions/feedback on how to make this modpack better. Also, feel free to comment any questions you may have - much appreciated! <3
