About

Description

This modpack brings together various different mods and resource packs, as well as a huge stylised map to make for an accurate and immersive Alice in Borderland experience! This is of course inspired by the Netflix show Alice in Borderland, that's based on a manga with the same name, written by Haro Aso.

There is one crucial mod that's not available on CurseForge, and instead is taken from Modrinth. It's called Playing Cards! by Hampfrey! [https://modrinth.com/resourcepack/playing-cards!]

I chose this specific mod for one of the most important parts of AiB simply because of it's truly unmatched quality. It uses CIT Resewn to rename the Paper item into any playing card. Not only does it have vanilla-friendly textures that are very simple and pleasant to look at, it also uses a very cool feature! If you hold a card in your right arm, only you will see it, and others will see the back of it. However if you press F to switch arms, now you will show the card to other players! Isn't that so neat? :D

Another very important thing to note is the map, made by minatomirai03 on Planet Minecraft!

Now let's talk about guns :) For that we have Human Era: Vanilla Military by CmdrMCNuggets! It also uses CIT/EMF+ETF to rename bows and crossbows into actual guns. For the complete list of possible names, you'll need to hack a bit. Open the modpack profile, click the 3 dots, and then "Open Folder". After that, go to resourcepacks > HumanEraVanillaMilitary > "CUSTOM ITEM AND VEHICLE LIST" > CustomWeapons.txt and there you go, all the gun names are listed on there, go all out.

Of course, none of the mods and resource packs used here are made by me, and belong to their respective creators. This modpack was made with accuracy in mind, inspired by the absolute lack of Alice in Borderland x Minecraft related content. Have fun in the Borderland!
