Iron Assembly Community Pack

This modpack is a designed to be a super lightweight, performance focussed, vanilla experience. Its intention is to help you and your friends get started in a 1.18 vanilla server as quickly as possible. It has been built for the Iron Assembly community, but it's open for all to use.

A goal of the pack is that Vanilla clients can always join an Iron Assembly server. While they might be missing some features (eg, Simple Voice Chat), they are still functional and can jump on and play straight away!

Installation Help

Hosting on a Server

• We recommend hosting on a service such as Bisect Hosting.
• Instructions for setting up Fabric
• After setting up Fabric, add the server files to yours mods folders

Simple Voice Chat (required, or needs to be disabled)

Client

• No config required. Press 'V' (default) in game for settings

Server

• Run the server once to generate the configs
• Find the Simple Voice Chat config at /config/voicechat/voicechat-server.properties
• Set the bind_address to your server's IP address (eg, 123.45.6.78)
• Ensure the port is not being used elsewhere (by default it's likely to be unique)
• Restart the server, and you're good to go!

BlueMap (optional for server, but map won't work without these steps)

Server

• Run the server once to generate the configs
• Accept the terms and conditions in the config at /config/bluemap/core.cfg
• (Optional) Configure the ip to your server's IP address (eg, 123.45.6.78) at /config/bluemap/core.cfg
