Instead of just lumping a bunch of random mods into a modpack, Introduction to Modded, (ITM), attempts to bring a higher quality experience. By adding vanilla-themed mods that work well together, this modpack will feel like ten years of Minecraft updates.

About

Description

Giving Minecraft a much-needed update.

There's been a lot of talk recently about how Mojang has been lazy with their updates, with it feeling like they average one new mob added to the game every year. Because of this, I created Intro to Modded (ITM), my attempt at fixing Mojang's mistakes. All of the mods in this mod pack are designed to feel like they're what Mojang should be adding in the vanilla game. Meaning you're only getting the best of the best. While it's almost impossible to list all the improvements that ITM provides, some of the highlights include a new guidebook to help new players get started, revamped vanilla structures, more wildlife, a new sculk dimension, revamped farming and cooking, better villagers and villages, and of course, outvoted mobs from previous mob votes that Mojang refuses to ever let into the game (like the Copper Golem, Wildfire, Moobloom, Iceolger, etc...).

My hope with this mod pack was to create something where everything in it felt like something Mojang themselves could add at some point. Bringing enough content to make ITM feel like what Minecraft should be after so many years of updates. The mod pack is still in the early stages so if there's anything you'd like to suggest please do.
