Kinetic Theory is an expert industrial modpack where mods are gears in one machine. Master mechanical power with Create, refine fuels, and evolve into the atomic age with Mekanism. Experience a tightly integrated journey from steam to antimatter.
Centered around complex tech and/or magic where large-scale automation is necessary, often taking many hours to craft items and hundreds or thousands of hours to fully complete.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Includes quests that drive progression, whether through a quest book, NPC, or other in world source.
Designed to be difficult and challenging for experienced players, often with many hours of gameplay.
Neoforge is a fork of the Minecraft Forge available for versions 1.20.1+ of Minecraft. Many Forge mods are compatible with Neoforge and vice versa.

Kinetic Theory: A Systems-Integrated Modpack
Kinetic Theory is a heavy industrial and technical modpack designed for players who find traditional "kitchen-sink" packs too disjointed. In this world, no mod exists in a vacuum. Every machine you build and every alloy you smelt is a vital link in a massive, interconnected industrial chain.
From your first wooden waterwheel to the creation of stable antimatter, Kinetic Theory challenges you to master the laws of motion, thermodynamics, and digital automation.
Core Experience
Unlike other packs where you can rush to end-game gear, Kinetic Theory features a tightly locked progression system. You cannot master electricity without understanding mechanical power, and you cannot reach the stars without mastering the atom.

Integrated Progression: Recipes have been completely overhauled to bridge the gap between mods. Create and TFMG provide the heavy infrastructure needed for Immersive Engineering, which in turn fuels the advanced circuitry of Applied Energistics 2 and Mekanism.

The Power Ladder: Energy isn't just about placing a block. Progress through tiers of generation, starting with steam and diesel, moving into Extreme Reactors, and finally reaching the high-voltage demands of Powah’s energizing rituals.

Industrial Realism: With Create: The Factory Must Grow, logistics matter. Set up complex refineries, blast furnaces, and chemical plants to produce the specialized steels and plastics required for high-tech components.

Tiered Gear: Survival is earned. Armors and tools are layered; your basic exosuit is the foundation for the god-like MekaSuit. Even the classic Netherite has been reimagined as a superheated industrial alloy.

I am a solo, independent developer just starting my journey in modpack creation. Kinetic Theory is my first major project, born from a passion for automation and complex systems.

Kinetic Theory is currently in its v1.0 stage, but this is not the final version of the experience. I am actively working on new content, including a full Quest system, recipe balancing, and deeper integration between mods.
