About

Description

KingSlayer MP is a lightweight Forge 1.20.1 medieval PvPvE modpack built for a two-faction campaign server on a limited-size, Earth-style world. It combines survival pressure, structured progression, and player-driven economy so every session has a purpose—whether you’re building a kingdom, running expeditions, or preparing for war.

Features offered

  • Two-faction campaign framework using team-based systems and a chapter-style questbook (FTB Teams + FTB Quests) to guide long-term goals and give your faction shared objectives.
  • Land claims and safe zones (FTB Chunks) so factions can protect settlements and the server can host a neutral, no-PvP market city.
  • Player economy and storefronts (SWEconM) with essential server shops plus optional player-run stores for trade, specialization, and supply chains.
  • Survival difficulty through environment needs (Homeostatic) adding temperature and thirst, making travel and biomes matter.
  • Specialization-based progression (Reskillable Reimagined) where players spend XP to develop skills that gate certain actions, encouraging distinct roles inside a faction.
  • Enhanced medieval combat (Simply Swords + Better Combat + Combat Roll + Shield Parry) featuring varied weapon classes, better-feeling melee, dodge mobility, and skill-based parries.
  • Exploration rewards via large and classic dungeon generation (When Dungeons Arise + YUNG’s Better Dungeons), built into the world from the start.
  • Quality-of-life survival support with gravestones to reduce rage-loss and keep dungeon runs and wars fair.
  • Proximity voice chat (Simple Voice Chat) for coordination, diplomacy, and tactical teamplay.
  • Performance-focused stability (ModernFix, FerriteCore, Starlight, AI Improvements, Clumps, Chunky, spark) to keep travel, worldgen, and fights smooth—especially on a limited map.
  • Optional visual upgrades: medieval texture packs (16x and 64x options), animations, and shader support (Oculus/Embeddium; OptiFine optional) for players who want a more cinematic look.
