kookykraft

A 1.21.1 NeoForge pack that jams two genres together that don't usually share a server: heavy industrial automation and high fantasy magic. Build a fully automated factory with Create, Mekanism, and AE2, then walk five minutes north and get lit on fire by a dragon. Neither half is an afterthought bolted onto the other.

What's actually in it

300+ mods. Full list is in kookykraft/mods if you want the real inventory before committing 8GB of RAM to this.

Tech & automation Create, plus more Create addons than any one person really needs (Connected, Copycats+, Interiors, Blocks & Bogies, Big Cannons, Aeronautics, Hypertubes, Numismatics, Slice & Dice, and a dozen more). Mekanism with Generators, Tools, and Additions. Applied Energistics 2, Refined Storage (yes, both, fight about it yourselves), Modern Industrialization, Industrial Foregoing, Draconic Evolution, Immersive Engineering, Ender IO, Oritech, Sophisticated Backpacks, CC: Tweaked for anyone who'd rather write Lua than click buttons.

Magic Ars Nouveau, Mystical Agriculture and Agradditions, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Spell Engine, Spell Power, Relics, Runes, Wizards.

Combat & progression Skills and Skill Tree for actual RPG-style leveling, Better Combat, Combat Roll, Simply Swords, Simply Bows, plus the full RPG series lineup: Armory, Arsenal, Paladins & Priests, Rogues & Warriors, Archers, Jewelry, Gazebos, Village Taverns.

Exploration & world Ice and Fire (dragons, sea serpents, all of it), Mowzie's Mobs, Mutant Monsters, Friends and Foes, the full YUNG's suite (better dungeons, mineshafts, strongholds, nether fortresses, ocean monuments, so structures stop feeling like 2014 vanilla), Incendium and Nullscape overhauling the Nether and End, Stellaris if you want to leave the planet entirely, Towns and Towers, Village Taverns, and Structory for settlements actually worth visiting. Worldgen runs on Oh The Biomes We've Gone, alongside Lithosphere and the Dynamic Trees family.

Building The full Macaw's collection (doors, windows, fences, roofs, bridges, furniture, paintings, lighting), Supplementaries, Chipped, Rechiseled, Stoneworks.

Food Farmer's Delight and most of the "Delight" addon family, Pam's HarvestCraft 2.

Performance & QoL Sodium, Iris, Lithium, C2ME, ModernFix, FerriteCore, Fast Noise, Krypton Reno. This pack is heavy, the optimization stack isn't optional. Plus Jade, EMI, Waystones, Xaero's Minimap and World Map (with XaeroPlus), Simple Voice Chat, and the Photon shaderpack.

Why combine them

Picking one playstyle always felt like leaving half the modpack on the table. Automate everything, then go fight a hydra with a spell you cobbled together yourself. Or do both badly at the same time, no judgment.
