About
Description
Krnl is a no-compromises performance modpack, intended to be a base for other modpacks.
What makes krnl special?
Unlike other optimization modpacks, krnl doesnt inpact any mechanics and doesnt add any extra visual features. In short, krnl only focuses on performance, nothing else. Additionally, krnl is optimized to be visually & mechanically indistinguishable from the vanilla game. The optimizations done to the modpack are intended to give you high fps, while also keeping stutters low.
Which mods are included?
Currently, the mods that are included are:
- BadOptimizations
- Better Block Entities
- Cloth Config API
- Concurrent Chunk Management Engine
- Entity Culling
- Fabric API
- Fast Noise
- FerriteCore
- ImmediatelyFast
- Krypton
- Lithium
- ModernFix-mVUS
- More Culling
- ScalableLux
- Sodium
- ZConfig
Which versions are supported?
Currently, 1.21.11, and every version beyond 26.2+ are supported. Performance may vary between the versions but generally they should all perform mostly equal.
How does vulcan support fair for krnl?
Any version supporting vulcan will cater it's performance to work well on specifically vulcan, however it is ensured that using opengl wont cause issues and that opengl will still be faster than vanilla.
