Description

~ About ~

I wanted to release this pack as an analysis of the good 'ol World of Colour Update and the wide and lovely range of mods/modpacks it has to offer. It's been around for about 2 whole years now, so I thought I'd make my stab at modding it; this is partially what I wanted to see in a pack and otherwise based on the best of what I saw in this version. (Excluding the magnificent Skyblock offshoots, of course, this isn't a challenge pack.)

The goal of this pack is to give an adventurous world of unique flora, biomes, dimensions, and possibilities. There's around 175 mods, a hefty variety of features and ways to do the same thing, and mod integration.

~ Features ~

  • Expansion of the world
  • Mods big and small, popular and less so, numbering around 175
  • Multiple forms of Big Magic (major magic mods)
  • New tools systems
  • Loosely tiered integration of tech mods
  • An endgame based around Draconic Evolution, ProjectE, and things teleportation-related
  • A focus on making the game fun and not fearing player power

A warning about Optifine: Due to certain mods, the world alterations presented within them, and the general instability of many Forge systems with Optifine, it is not recommended that you use it with this pack. There are other Forge-compatible solutions to your FPS problems. If you have a lower-end system, this pack is probably not for you anyway.

Specs Recommendations: The mods in this pack is not too demanding out the box, but after you've established a base, chunkloaded an area around your Digital Miner, have two wireless power systems, and your ME system is auto-crafting your stuff you will be struggling at less than 4 GB RAM allocation. (I play on a decent laptop with 5 GB allocated and have few problems streaming to YouTube in HD. See the images tab for more.)
