Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Basics
Legacy 12 is a modpack that focuses on advancing your technology, learning magic, and having fun with friends. While it is best experienced with friends you are able to do everything solo such as exploring the dimensions, obtaining advanced technology, and becoming the best wizard or witch in the game.
Basic Mod Overview
This modpack combines Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Industrial Foregoing, and Applied Energistics for technology mods as well as Botania and Mystical Agriculture for magical mods. The modpack includes mods like the MrCrayFish series, chisel and bits, as well as portal guns and gravity guns.
