LegoPack: Electric Face-aloo

(Not related to the plastic toy.) 

LegoPack is a generally-Vanilla-style pack that aims to add content and mechanics in areas that felt lacking in Vanilla.

Some notable mods include:  

• An expanded toolset with Basic Hammers and Supplementaries.  
• Additions to building such as Chipped, Chisels and Bits, Stoneworks.  
• Satisfying combat with Minecraft Dungeon Weapons and Better Combat.  
• More critters and enemies with Alex's Mobs, Friends & Foes, and Enemy Expansion.  
• Server and world utility through In Control! and Yet Another World Protection.  
• Exploration with Biomes O' Plenty, Bygone Nether, When Dungeon's Arise.  

And much more that gives Minecraft a fresh and expanded feeling, great for players who want more out of the Minecraft experience but don't want to be overwhelmed by mods that feel a bit intrusive to the core Minecraft gameplay loop.
