Description
v1.2:
I can't summarize everything to one paragraph, especially since the big amount of mods in this modpack. I'll just say that it's an interesting modpack to progress in for two reasons: the amount of mods and their variety, and also that some recipes will make you take damage the first time you make them (also i inserted an easter egg which will trigger after you make a specific thing from vanilla several times).
Also, the modpack consists some starting kits which will probably allow you to start quicker on some things. Just enter the class name (all lower cased) in the chat and you'll recieve the things that it includes:
- Warrior - a weapon and some armor
- Mage - CAD parts (from Psi)
- Archer - a bow and a few things that will help you to start a chicken farm (for the feathers for arrows)
- Farmer - farming equipment to help you survive better on your first few days
- Mechanic - some gear to help you start with technology mods and generate early game RF
- Builder - a stick and an iron ingot (for a chisel) and blocks for flat-colored blocks
v1.3:
The pack consists many mods and has Progression in order to create a unique experience using especially magic mods (i.e Botania and Thaumcraft) in order to progress in the pack and give you a new idea about mods you didn't use very much in the past like Immersive Engineering or Thaumcraft, or even Botania!
There is a quest line that you should probably follow if you want to unlock all the mods in the modpack, and no, it's not looping so you can actually play the damn modpack without reporting any bugs from the quest line.
Do note that if you expect to play in the modpack without using Botania... you are doomed to use only vanilla tools and utility mods. Also Tinkers' Construct is unlocked pretty late in the mid-game, so that won't come very easy.
The starter kits were scrapped, but there is now a shop with some books and armor (the Crimson Cult armor from Thaumcraft).
