About
Description
This modpack aims to provide a chill, exploration-based experience for solo or multiplayer. Explore strange and (eventually) custom-built dimensions, build industrial machinery to take advantage of their environments, and establish yourself as a master of your domain(s). Learn the secrets of the universe, and also a bunch of other universes. Role-play a little, it won't hurt you.
Life Throughout the Ages is intended to be a simpler modpack that still provides players a lot of options as they play. It's magic-focused, with Botania, Thaumcraft, Twilight Forest, Extra Utilities II, and of course Mystcraft. There are a few tech options, however, through Immersive Engineering and Mekanism, along with a few other QoL mods in the mix.
If you want the most laid-back experience possible, go ahead and play on Peaceful! On the other hand, Security Craft is included to protect you & your belongings, if necessary. Secret away your stuff! Make your friends solve puzzles! The inspiration for this modpack is the Myst universe, after all.
You can play with 4-5gb of ram, though it may be a bit choppy (especially when loading dimensions). Somewhere between 6gb and 8gb is recommended for smooth results.
This pack is still open to changes, so if you have any suggestions/issues/other comments, leave a comment on the Curse page.
