Learn how to play Minecraft with all the information you need located conveniently in game without having to check a wiki every minute.
This pack is a set of training wheels for anyone who is new to the game, hasn't played in a while or just wants to learn more. It comes with a comprehensive guidebook to walk you through every step of the game, plus tips and tools to help you identify all the different blocks, items, effects, biomes and resources in the game.
It is also optimized so you can play even on potato-quality machines.
To make things even easier, spiders and cave spiders have been blocked from the game to make it more accessible to arachnophobes, and easy mode has been altered so that monsters won't attack unless you attack them first. (The config file for Bad Mobs can be changed if you'd like to bring spiders back or block any other mobs.)

Easy ID Thanks to Apathy Mod, easy difficulty has been changed so monsters won't attack unless you attack them first. And the Jade mod displays info about whatever you target at the top of the HUD. -
Easier Advancements The advancement screen is bigger and easier to navigate thanks to Better Advancements. And Clickable Advancements allows you to jump to the screen quickly when an advancement pops up in chat. -
Hunger bars The AppleSkin mod adds tooltip information to all the foods so you can tell how much hunger and saturation you'll receive. You'll also get a preview in your HUD of the hunger and health a food can restore while you're holding a food item. -
Just Enough Resources Mods like Just Enough Resources, JEI, JEED and more offer info on any block, item, effect or mob you want to look up. -
In-game guidebook The Lexicon mod adds an intuitive guidebook that explains every feature of the game. -
Tips The Tips mod provides handy snippets of info during the loading screen and when you have your inventory open.
