About
Description
Welcome to LiteHearted, a modpack based around a sprinkle of everything
Litehearted focuses on adding a little bit extra to all parts of the game (what we call a kitchen sink modpack) it aims to give a similar feeling of wonder and mystery to what a first modded playthrough of the game gave each and every modded mc player, while trying to keep balance/progression very similar to basegame
Some notable features are...
Planned future version support
This is by far LiteHearted's strongest selling point as a modpack, the pack contains only cherry picked mods that have been actively maintained for a long time and show no signs of randomly stopping updates, and thus it will remain updated at a pace of one content update/drop behind the main minecraft version (this means that when the winter drop releases It will be updated to the wilderness bound drop, and when a spring drop releases in 2027 it will update to the winter drop)
Totally overhauled terrain generation across all three dimensions... but without the same mods everyone always uses
Overworld: Tectonic and terralith
Nether: Incendium and eternal nether
End: Stellarity and nullscape
A class system
RPG series adds classes to the game and a skilltree for you to allocate points into
No true 'netherite but better' armor
Rather than making a direct defensive upgrade to netherite, between rpg series, armor upgrades, and stellarity, you can chose a different set based on your playstyle (Such as... chorus champion from stellarity, which sacrifices defense to deal damage, or prismarine armor from armor upgrades which gives you some extra reach for building)
Trinkets actually feels balanced
Rather than giving trinkets that massively buff the player, all of the trinkets give a minor boost (such as 8% crit rate) to avoid sheer statbloat
Useful armor trims
Armor trims are no longer cosmetics that cost all of your diamonds, now they give status effects (trim effects mod) gold ones count as gold armor to piglins (distracting trims) and they can be applied to (tools dont get the buff) tools (modded ones will be supported later on) and elytra thanks to trimmable tools and elytra trims
Overhauled early game progression
Rather than simply going directly to copper, iron or even diamond armor, there are multiple earlygame armor choices (mainly from immersive armors and RPG series) such as wooden armor which grants a chance to negate projectiles, or rouge armor which grants evasion chance and attack speed (there are plenty of other options as well, check out JEI)
Disclaimers:
1: this modpack used fabulously optimized as a template, go check them out at and give their amazing team some love at: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/fabulously-optimized
2: fabulously optimized mentions in the description you are free to add to it as you please, specifically where it says 'You can use the modpack as a base to add your favorite mods to'
3: this modpack is in no way officially related to fabulously optimized, I simply used it as a base because 1: it works well for a base as it contains anything performance would need and 2: their clearly fine with people doing so as they even reccomend it in their description and in the fact that its open source (anyones free to edit the source code)
4: Do NOT report bugs in this modpack to the fabulously optimized discord or comments section, instead report them directly to this modpacks comment section, as they are going to be my fault (not the fabulously optimized teams fault) 100% of the time
5: While LiteHearted aims to stay as close as possible to the main minecraft version at all times with minimal possible affect on existant worlds (so you can finally enjoy a modded forever world)... sometimes mods get abandoned and theres nothing that can be done about that on my end, if a mod is abandoned for whichever reason it will sadly have to be cut when updating to the next drop and any items/mobs/blocks from it will sadly vanish from your world
Additionally, you are free to edit this modpack and even share/publish it as you please (so long as its not adding malware/turning it into a trojan) as it would be crazy to say you cant when I used fabulously optimized as a base
(LiteHearted is liscensed under public domain, meaning literally anyone can use it/its custom assets for whatever they want... tho again, my only request is you do not use it to spread malware/trojans in any way, anything besides that is 100% fine)
