Lightweight & server-friendly modpack featuring technology, automation and lots of quality-of-life improvements.
Key Features
- Tested for multiplayer server compatibility: All mods have been tested for server compatibility. Party and claim systems are also supported.
- Full-featured tech and automation mods: Thermal Series, EnderIO, Applied Energistics 2, CC: Tweaked (ComputerCraft), Extreme Reactors
- Dedicated exploration and boss-fight dimension: Twilight Forest

Note for servers: The modpack is not available in Aternos yet, but all mods are available via the mod finder (tested!).

Tech Mods
- Ender IO. full-featured tech mod. It has armor, tools, weapons, machines, conduits, inventory management, mobs, etc.
- Thermal Series. full-featured and modular tech mod.
Thermal Expansion. Industrial base, from energy generation, storage and ore processing.
Thermal Foundation. Common components, tools and resources. Dependencies: CoFH Core
Thermal Cultivation. Farming and Foods.
Thermal Dynamics. Logistics and Transport.
Thermal Innovation. Advanced Power Tools and Gadgets.
Thermal Integration. Modded Compatibility Enhancements.
Thermal Locomotion. Rails and Minecarts - Applied Energistics 2 (AE2). introduces a unique approach to inventory management and automation. Its futuristic sci-fi theme centers around the concept of converting matter into energy and vice versa for instantaneous resource transportation. Dependencies: GuideMe.
- Extreme Reactors. Build huge multiblock machines to produce produce energy in a very efficient way (Reactors, Turbines). Dependencies: Zero Core 2, Patchouli
- CC Tweaked (Computer Craft). A fork of ComputerCraft, adding computers, turtles and more.
Addon: Advanced Peripherals, adds new peripherals to computers to interact with other mods. - Industrial Foregoing. An industrial automation mod.

- The Twilight Forest. A dimension exploration mod focused on adventure that will take you on a journey to meet strange creatures, exploring dungeons, and much more.
Cosmetics
- Critters and Companions. A vanilla-style creature mod which will fill the overworld with new animals. Dependency: GeckLib
- Macaw’s bridges. Adds a variety of bridges.
- Chisels & Bits for forge. Create custom decorations using in game materials.
Utilities & Quality of Life
- AE2 Wireless Terminals. features several wireless versions of Applied Energistics 2 terminals. Dependencies: Cloth config. Architectury api
- Simply Jetpacks 2. Adds Jetpacks and Fluxpacks with various recipes from other mods such as Thermal Expansion and EnderIO.
- Storage Drawers. Storage mod.
- Iront Chests. Has chests for the various metals in vanilla minecraft with varying sizes.
- Sophisticated Backpacks. Backpack you can place in world, color in different color combinations, upgrade with more inventory and enhance with many functional upgrades. Depdencies: Sophisticated Core.
- Comforts. A mod that adds sleeping bags and hammocks to Minecraft. These items can be used just like beds except they do not set a player's spawn point on use, safely preserving a player's spawn point at their home base.
- Building Gadgets 2. Gadgets aims to make building a little bit easier
- Torchmaster. Adds a special torch which prevents mob spawning.
- Open Parties and Claims. This mod adds the ability to claim and to forceload world chunks, as well as create and manage player parties
- Xaero's Minimap. Minimap with lots of info.
- Xaero's Worldmap. Adds a self-writing fullscreen map to your Minecraft client.
- Jade. Jade is the information HUD mod - Hwyla/Waila for modern Minecraft versions. Designed for better user experience and API.
- Jade Addons. Adds more mod supports for Jade.
- Just Enough Items (JEI). Item and recipe viewing mod.
- Just Enough Resources (JER). Resource information viewing mod.
- Crafting Tweaks. This mod adds buttons to many supported Crafting Tables (including modded ones) allowing you to quickly rotate, balance or clear the crafting grid.
- DarkSleep. Changes the required % of players to sleep to pass the night from 100% to 50% .
- Elytra slot. A mod to add an elytra slot to the player inventory and allows the elytra to be placed into this slot. While the elytra is in this slot, it will grant the same flight capabilities as if it was in your chestplate slot. Dependencies: Caelus api, Curios api.
- AppleSkin. Adds various food-related HUD improvements.
- Clumps. Groups XP orbs together into a single entity to reduce lag.
- Gravestone Mod. Every time you die, a grave is placed at your position. To retrieve your items just break the grave.
- Enchantment Descriptions. Aims to clarify enchantments by adding descriptions of their effects to enchanted item tooltips. Dependencies: Bookshelf (which has an utility command to get more info of the item in hand)
- Fast Leaf Decay. Speeds up leaf decay after you cut down the wood in a tree.
- TrashSlot. Adds a trash slot to your inventory allowing you to quickly and safely get rid of unwanted items. Dependencies: Balm.
- Animal Feeding Through. Mobs self feed with feeding through.
- More Overlays Updated. Adds light overlay for mob spawns, a chunk border overlay and a JEI search overlay.
- Crafting Station with JEI. Improved crafting station from Tinker's construct.
- Polymorph. A mod that solves recipe conflicts by letting players choose between all potential outputs shared by the same ingredients.
- OpenBlocks Elevator. Elevator ported from OpenBlocks 1.8
- Ender Storage 1.8. Chests linked together that share an inventory.
- Endertanks. Store liquids in another dimension.
- Simple Quarry. Simple quarries to mine an area of blocks.
- Inventory Sorter: Sort inventories with middle click and extract/insert items from/to stacks with the mouse wheel.
- Tool Belt. Utility belt that hold your tools.
- Carry On. Lets you carry entities like non-hostile mobs and chests.
- [Client only] Inventory HUD+. Adds inventory, potion effects and equipments to your HUD
- Nature's Compass. An item that lets you locate any biome in the world.
ToDo
- Make a list of guidebooks provided in-game for the different mods.
Past tips
- Since version 1.2.8, we introduced the Critters and Companions mod, which adds more vanilla-style mobs using GeckoLib as the rendering library. Our tests didn't show degrading server-side performance so the mod stays in the pack for now.
- In version 1.2.8 , we introduced HUD+ this adds several icons that can clutter your view. You can customize this by pressing the 'O' Key.

- Removed Twilight Forest Bosses Resurrection because the mod doesn't allow project distribution. This makes the mod difficult to use in some server environments like Aternos
